NEW OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
Neighborhood associations elect their new Officers and Directors for the coming year. Check the individual neighborhoods for your new board.
NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT!
Be a good neighbor watch out for one another. Be arlert to unfamiliar traffic in the area. This includes "foot traffic" as well as automobiles.
There is vandalism occuring in some neighborhoods around the lake - usually more prevelant in the summertime. Keep an eye out -
Also watch out when you are driving through neighborhoods for those joggers and walkers and our children who may run into the street. Be careful!!!
FAVORABLE DECISION ON RE-ZONING LAKE SPIVEY AREA FROM RS180 to ER -(ESTATE RESIDENTIAL)
old but good news concerning our property value

Clayton County Board of Commissioners Re-zoned the neighborhoods around Lake Spivey from RS 180 to ER (Estate Residential) with stipulations. This zoning requires a MINIMUM of 1.25 Acres (lot size); 75 ft. from street; 3000 sq. ft. dwelling; set-back from the Lake of 75 ft.; lake frontage 100 ft.;
No vinyl siding, except for eaves and soffits. Exterior surfaces shall be constructed with a masonry based material, including hardy plank. all lots existing "OF RECORD" on 12/16/04 shall be legal, conforming structures.
Streets around Lake Spivey affected by this zoning are Emerald Court, Emerald Drive, Woodland Court, Forest Drive, Canal Drive, Shoreline Drive, Shoreview Court, Indian Creek Trail, North Shore Drive, Lake Forest Drive, Wildwood Court, Club Valley Court, Edgewater Court, Edgewater Cove, Lake Park Drive, Parkway Drive, Pier I, Pier II, Pine Knoll Court and Lost Valley Drive.
